Friends of Handicap in Rwanda (FHR) is a dedicated non-profit organization based in Rwanda, with a legal personality and a commitment to empowering children and youth with disabilities. Our core mission is to foster inclusion and provide equal opportunities for all, focusing on those with physical and intellectual challenges.

Since 2006, FHR has been actively involved in running specialized programs, including educational initiatives, vocational training, and outreach services to help children and youth lead independent and fulfilling lives. We serve rural communities, particularly in districts like Nyagatare, Kayonza, Ngoma, Kirehe, Rwamagana, and Gatsibo, where our efforts are most needed.

Our diverse services includeFHR is committed to creating sustainable change in the lives of individuals with disabilities, equipping them with the tools they need to succeed in the modern world.
